After installing Redirect2wpForo and updated the order and hierarchy the layout is still not updated to WPForo layout. As per your instruction I do not need to update any setting. So I want to ask what setting needs to change for the layout to be effected

wpForo is a forum plugin. I's not a layout for bbPress. If you want to migrate from bbPress to wpForo, first install the wpForo plugin and use the Go2wpForo Migration tool to migrate all forums, topics, posts to wpForo. Then use the Redirect2wpForo plugin to redirect old bbPress topic URLs to new wpForo topic URLs.

The Redirect2wpForo plugin is designed to redirect bbPress topic URLs to wpForo forum topic URLs after the migration is finished. Please open a new support topic if you have further questions related to the migration. This topic is for URL redirection plugin. Here we don't discuss bbPress to wpForo replacement questions.

This plugin installs like any other plugin for WordPress:

  • Downloaded Redirect2wpForo.zip file.
  • Navigate to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new and upload addon ZIP file, then activate.
  • There is no setting page in dashboard, just keep it activated for URL redirection
