In addition, if you need to stick the first post of your topic on the top of all pages you can use the corresponding options in Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts Tab:

Make a SUPER STICKY topic option

Love the plugin. One feature you MUST have is make the option to have a SUPER STICKY topic so that it always stays at the top.

I've seen the code you guys provided to re-order sticky posts but a lot of other forum solutions have the super sticky option that works well.
