Hello,
thank you for this great plugin.

I installed wpForo in a multisite installation in one subsite and it works. But the users list shows the users of the entire network. How can I set a list of the users of this subsite only?

I'm very interestet to purchase the private message addon, but if all the users are showing in the list, the addon is impossible to use.

Thank you for support!

Andreas

Hi Collandi,

Please note, WordPress has only one general users table for all subSites. Users system is general for all subSites, so this is the reason why wpForo displays all users. I'm really sorry but there is no way to filter them yet. This is already in our-do to list, I'll update this topic once the this included in new wpForo version release.

TXH Robert!

Bad news!

But why all other plugins can do that and the wordpress userlist too?

I think, every user get a database entry for every site, if he added to or removed from a site. Otherwise it would be impossible to add and remove existing users in every site in the network from the general users table. But the wpForo list include users, they are not added to this site. It must be work, if you tell, wpForo is multisite compatible!

I spent a lot of time to create and test forums, rights and color settings and now I get this information.

I am sad about it. I like your forum and and the possibilities, especially private messages.

Do you know, when the feature is working?

Best regards

Andreas

Yes, there is a way to filter them. But current wpForo version doesn't have such code. We'll do our best to add it as soon as possible. Currently you can disable Members page for Guests and Registered Usergroups:

Hi Robert,

Yes, I disabled the members page. But I want to purchase and use the Private Messages and I think that's the same issue. Or isn't it?

Maybe is another way to filter the members of other sites? e.g in function.php.
They are not so many and it would be a temporary solution.
