wpForo doesn't have its own users, wpForo uses WordPress Users. Doesn't matter how the User registers on the website, the created account For WordPress is used for wpForo as well.

About the Users Account, If you have Buddy Press or Ultimate Members, you can change wpForo Profile to one of them. So the user won't have wpForo Profile URL.

I wanted to be able to use the account information that someone uses to register with WpForo for other pages of the site, so for e.g. I have a resources page that uses log in details from elsewhere. Ideally one centralised account/ or atleast the same details would be the goal. 

right now, the 2 user has to create 2 different accounts which is too complicated from a users perspective. 

- one for the forum

- one for other areas of the site

 

Is this possible?
