First of all thanks.
I made the change, but by choosing the Extended Threaded Layout function, the change is made on all threads, while I would like to assign the Extended Threaded Layout function only to the first Threaded Layout keeping all the other Threaded Layouts compressed.
is this possible?

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forums admin page, find the "Threaded Layout - Forums List" option and use the Expanded option and check again.
