Okay, I was first wondering, but now I found the problem by myself.

When creating the link, the editor shows its URL as (screenshot), but in HTML source code mode, you can see that it inserts this:

which results in

http://https://www.example.com/…

in the email text. Gmail turns this into https//www…

So I edited it in HTML mode. That seems to work.

Hi devs,

in the mention email template, the shortcode ist used by default. It produces a link without the colon after https.

https//www…

Anyway, ist working fine.

I think that's a small one.
