This SQL exists from first versions of wpForo. It just returns the number of posts for statistic purpose. In any case, if you want to test it, you can open the /wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-includes/class-posts.php file, find this line:

$sql = "SELECT SQL_NO_CACHE COUNT(*) FROM `".WPF()->tables->posts."`";

and change it to this:

$sql = "SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `".WPF()->tables->posts."`";

Does thjis mean anything to anyone? Maybe its all not being cached properly so all files are being recalled each time some one logs in or something?

@dimalifragis The closest i have to that is bandwidth, i dont see a resoruces tab in my metrics

For me, it is at Metrics / Resource Usage / Details / Time Frame / Date Range / Last 30 days

You have the tools, use them. RAW logs for your site are available, also resource usage and Snapshots. They are all there.

Here is mine as an example 30 days history, so i can see what is wrong (or not).

As you can see i suffer from peaks at CPU load and my i/o starts to grow. But i know that and i can select what to do next. Or stay as i 'm.

You are using Maria DB 10.3, this is still considered as a new version, so I'd not recommend it yet. It's better to stay on 10.1 versions.

We are using 10.3.28-MariaDB everywhere and works just fine. And our hoster is extremely carefull with updates.

@robert Yes mate that is disabled, ill go and check again to be sure, but i had this problem beofre wehn that was acitvated, so i have kept it disabled since.
