I noticed the same issue on my site. Setting the excerpt length to 0 doesn't seem to work as expected, and the widget stops refreshing. I had to set it to 1 as a temporary workaround.

I also support the suggestion to add excerpt support to the Recent Topics widget. It would make the widgets more consistent and provide more flexibility for different layouts.

Hopefully the developers can look into both of these in a future update.

I checked with only very essential plugins installed in a fresh WordPress installation.

Could you please share a screenshot, that shows, that the error I documented in my screenshot and my screenvideo does not appear on your server, too. Thank you!

You can even see, that there ist a mistake in the description of the field for the excerpt length. I can't imagine, that another plugin would cause this.

Hello, if I set the Excerpt Length to 0, the excerpt is displayed in full length... That's not nice.

I expect the excerpt to be disabled.

I'll record a screen video, but please have a look at the screenshot: "Set 0 to disable autorefresh" directly next to "Excerpt Length"... There is a second setting "Auto Refresh Interval Seconds", but it seems to be messed up.

We couldn't reproduce this issue on our test websites. Could you please record a video demonstrating the problem so we can see exactly what is happening?

Also, please check your browser's console for any JavaScript errors and let us know if you find any.

I purchsed WP Discuz Widgets, but I miss a similar designed simple widget like the ones in WPForo. I would like to present them in a grid of three columns. And the WPDiscuz-Widget does not match the design of WPForo.

ease note that the wpDiscuz addons are designed specifically for the wpDiscuz plugin and are not related to the wpForo plugin.

The design of the wpDiscuz addons is intended to match the overall style of the main wpDiscuz plugin. Therefore, they are not expected to have the same appearance as the wpForo widgets.

I discovered a bug in the recent posts widget.

By the way: Please consider to let there be an excerpt for "Recent Topics", too.
