I have a number of issues. I followed instructions, installed, deleted and reinstalled.

1. When I add a new category, its not showing up on my page. It will only show one catagory and subtopics.

2. I copied the short code into a page, it works on that page but when I click a topic it goes to a separate page without my header and footer. I built the header and footer from scratch...not with the theme. I want it to work just in that page.

Here is the site link: http://www.risewithin.com/forum/

Im using the twenty sixteen theme....but just because I have to. I built my headers and footer from scratch and manually put them on each page.

Hi @1armedswordsman,

1. When I add a new category, its not showing up on my page. It will only show one catagory and subtopics.

Please note: If a category (blue panels) does not have forums (grey panels) it will not be displayed on front-end. Each category should contain at least one forum.

More info you'll find here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/categories-and-forums/category-vs-forums/

The forum base URL is one for all. All shortcodes are only designed to show to the first list, but paginations and links go to the main forum page with main forum slug.

In other words, pages with custom shortcodes are not separate forums, they are just a list of current view but all content is linked to the main forum page and being opened under Base Forum URL/Slug.

I actually fixed this before your reply, I had to go to the wpforo page and manually add the header footer. But thanks for your reply.
