On one of my forums, I want to limit who can use the comment box (as opposed to replying to an existing comment) based on role. What I am trying to accomplish is that I don't want additional parent posts other than the initial post and the first reply (these need to stand out). If I could set the total parent post limit to 2, that might work. 

Another idea would be to add a permission to wpForo accesses for a 'Can add new comment' option in addition to the 'Can post reply' option.

Any other suggestions?
