My forum is used for a community relating to 2 separate countries.

Ideally i would like to have them clearly separated.  Right now they both stew in the same list with the same blue standard header so it's difficult for users to identify each.

I would like to either

A) create 2 separate section forums. 1 for each of the 2 countries

Or

B) have one country clearly colour coded so it's distinguishable from the other

A would be better

Please see my suggestion below.

You can create two pages and insert two different wpForo shortcodes of the forums.

[wpforo item="forum" id="2"] - Loads forum with ID = 2. On this page, you can see all subForums and Topics of the ID=2 Category.

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"] - Loads forum with ID = 5. On this page, you can see all subForums and Topics of the ID=5 Category.

In this case, the forum base URL is one for all. All shortcodes are only designed to show to the first list, but paginations and links go to the main forum page with main forum slug. So the pages with custom shortcodes are not separate forums, they are just a list of current view but all content is linked to the main forum page and being opened under Base Forum URL/Slug.

Then you should configure the permissions for each forum in Forum permissions section.

Forum page

Into

esl China forum

And

Esl Korea forum

Would i be able to ask a step by step if it's possible? I couldn't understand what you meant by forum 2 and 5 sorry

Hi,

I tried to do it but could not figure it out.

To clarify, you are saying I would be able to create 2 distinctively different forum pages on my website?

Where do I implement the

[wpforo item="forum" id="2"] - Loads forum with ID = 2. On this page, you can see all subForums and Topics of the ID=2 Category.

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"] - Loads forum with ID = 5. On this page, you can see all subForums and Topics of the ID=5 Category.

you mentioned

I went on one of the forums and tried to input what you said in the slug of the forum and for it to be a separate page

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"]

but i don't see any changes except the forum url having a strange url

I am still trying to sort this but everything so far

I need them separate. The esl main forum page isn't needed any more so if i could delete it that'd be great or i can just hide it but i want exclusively the south Korean forum on my Korean forum and the same with China forum.

I did this.

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"]

I added that to the text area of the page on my south Korean page. It took a random few head forums

[wpforo item="forum" id="2"]

I added that to the text area of the page on my China page and it also took random forums

But it is Not the specific section i wanted.

Is there a way to set what headings of my source forum page are on the new pages

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"]

In the shortcode, the 5 number is just an example. Instead of the 5 number, you'll need to add forum ID you'd like to separate. In your case, it can differ. You'll just need to find the current forum ID and add it in the shortcode.

If you don't know how to find the forum ID please read this support topic:

In the case of China forum, you'll need to add only the shortcode with forum ID 1. It'll display all subforums under the China forum.

[wpforo item="forum" id="1"]

Please note there is no way to add multiple shortcodes on the same page. You can use only one shortcode.

I'm sorry, but no.

This is under consideration, we may add the feature in future updates.

i can see the forum number labels. I presume i only need to add the main forums and that automatically adds sub forums from it?

How do i add more than one on the page

the

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"]

seems to only allow one input of a forum number

[wpforo item="forum" id="5"]

I added that to the text area of the page on my south Korean page

[wpforo item="forum" id="2"]

I added that to the text area of the page on my China page

But it looks like they only took a random portion of the forum.  Not the specific section i wanted.

Could i also hide the main forum or delete it so the 2 forums are separate
