wpForo doesn't have such queries. I think some plugin tries to monitor or control other plugin actions. Also this could be malware in your website. wpForo doesn't have long lasting background processes and these queries contain variables that don't exist in wpForo plugin.

a background process keeps trying to update the posts table on a loop.
After a while this overwhelms MySQL and crashes the database, and we have to restart it manually.

The same “action” shows up hundreds of times in the logs right before each crash.
For context, the forum runs on a dedicated WordPress server with more than enough resources.

I’ve attached the relevant log entries (and the design file) for your reference. 

Any ideas?
