On all the boards I run the email notices have always resolved to my email address, never my username/display name.

Me it's the opposite lol.

@verek these notices are generated from notifications but before the 2.0 update, I never had this bug. 

On all the boards I run the email notices have always resolved to my email address, never my username/display name.

Yes, notifications such as mentioning or subs have resolved to my username/display name but those are not admin notices.

If the latter then short-code has always resolved to the email addresses listed there and not an admin/moderator username.
