Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Select wpForo Navigation Menu and make sure your menu are in place.

looks like I can only login via Wordpress, not the forum itself

My new forums seem to look fine, and work for me, logged in.. But they don't display any buttons to allow new users too try and register (?)
