Hello
I updated the forum version
It says that the current update has a Hebrew language
But when I look at the definitions I see that there is only English
Where am I supposed to find the other languages?
Thank you

You're looking the languages in wrong place.

Just change your WordPress to Hebrew and wpForo will load the Hebrew language from PO/MO files automatically. For the translation customization please read the doc: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/translation/how-to-translate/

@stevenf,

All works fine. You just need to translate the missing phrases. wpForo doesn't have 100% translation of your language. So you can see some English phrases. Just install the Logo Translate plugin, find your language in wpForo translation files and start translating the missing phrases. Don't forget to save the translation files in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory. Don't leave them in wpForo plugin folder, they'll be removed after the update.

In addition, you can contribute to the plugin translation in your language here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wpforo/

@robert Hi, in my WordPress the language set is French, but in wpforo i still have "xml based language" set to english, i tried to change WordPress language back to english then french but nothing change. I check inside "/wp-content/languages/plugins/" and there is "wpforo-fr_FR" so wpforo has everything to use french... i have surely missing something but i can't found what... can someone help me i'm lost lol

@coralineboo,

For first, check this FAQ topic for translation: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/how-to-translate/

Using MO PO translation(by Changing WordPress language) won't change The XML Based Language, it will stay English, but the Forum language will be changed. So if your forum language is French, just pass the XML Based Language option.

@chris thanks for your quick reply!! I check the link but I don't found how to "pass the XML Based Language option", it's related to /wpforo/wpf-languages/ directory?

@coralineboo,

Saying Pass XML Based Language, I mean just ignore it, if the Forum is translated you don't need to think about the XML Based Language option.

@chris When i think its only the top tab which are in english, the rest of the forum is in french, i tried to change in "Phrase" settings like its just a few word i will see if its enough

Update: i found where i can change de menu title, in Dashboard > Appearance > menus admin page

Thanks for your answer i wasn't thinking that the top menu can't be handle at a different place than the rest of the forum 🙂
