Hi Team!

First I want to thank you for the great forums plugin! love it!

Second - I want to disable the rich text editor on the account page (where users change their details) -
https://wpforo.com/community/account/user/

I want a simple text editor without a bold, link, etc. the old one 😊

picture attach

Thank you!

Hi @spidiman,

Please try the following CSS code:

#wpforo #wpforo-wrap .mce-toolbar .mce-btn-group {
display: none !important;
}

The CSS code should be added in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Styles admin page "Custom CSS Code" textarea.

In any case please don't forget to delete all caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend before checking.

There is another way to disabled that?
It worked but the style on the two boxes is very bad

@spidiman,

There is another way to disabled that?

We're really sorry but there is no other way to do that.

It worked but the style on the two boxes is very bad

Please try the following CSS code:

#wpforo #wpforo-wrap .wpf-field-name-about .wpf-field-wrap, #wpforo #wpforo-wrap .wpf-field-name-signature .wpf-field-wrap{
border: 1px solid #E6E6E6;
}

The red marked value can be changed.

The CSS code should be added in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Styles admin page "Custom CSS Code" textarea.

In any case please don't forget to delete all caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend before checking.

@spidiman,

The emojis are created differently and handled differently by operating systems and web browsers. They work based on smile codes mentioned in the doc below and they look a bit different.

More info in this doc: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/topics-posts/emoticons/#emoji-are-not-smileys
