If the answer is yes, then you may look for the deleted data on those backups, however since your forum has been active and more data has been added since the deletion you will not just be able to restore the full databases.

You'll need some professional help to restore "just" the pieces of data belonging to the deleted forum. Ask your host, maybe they keep backups of your data if you don't.

When updating to v2 I stupidly deleted a forum from our site (football language for learners of English). I contacted my host and they said that it should be okay but they didn't know the name of the database and to contact the plug in team to find out what it might be. So I wonder if you have any ideas?
