Hi,

I can'r remember but I've read somewhere on this forum that the WpForo plugin does not work well with the WP-Rocket optimization plugin. Can someone chime in about what the status is as on December 2019. I am almost sold on this plugin but has my site optimized with WP-Rocket and would love a seamless integration. Server wise, I am on Cloudways with 4GB Ram and 2CPU.

Hi @jimmy-george,

We recommend disable WP Rocket and other cache plugins for forum page. Just exclude the main forum page from your cache plugin. wpForo has built-in cache system designed only for forum part. All cache plugins makes forum data static and you see wrong information, wpForo built-in cache is dynamic and adapted for forum pages.

There should be an option to exclude pages or URLs from WP Rocket caching, just use that and exclude your forum page.

Hi @robert

Thanks a lot for the clarification and yes, you are absolutely correct. I had enabled WP-Rocket for caching and it messed up the site big time, so I am posting it here in case someone can save the hassle. The built-in caching is working fine.

For WP-Rocket to even work, you have to enable caching for logged in users and that opens another can of worms. Thanks again and really appreciate your help.

Hi @robert,

Can you also please take a look at these settings https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAuL4KEK and tell me if I need to un-check any of the non-caching options, This is the settings for the page where I have the main shortcode.

Well why don't you try all of them or combinations, press F12 of your browser and check for errors.

Robert can't possibly guess or know your plugins, your theme and possible conflicts.

F12 is the best way.
