Change the default forum user group to guest and then change the permissions of guest to no access. Then sett all your site users except the ones you want to use the forum to guest.</p><p>I think that covers it.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for your timely reply - I understand the settings as they are, but perhaps I am not clear on our setup.</p><p>The forum works great and is a great plugin - our challenge relates only to the persons that are showing in the members list in the forum.  </p><p>Our site will have any number of registered users who can access a variety of member-only items on the site.  Out of those registered members, only 9 will have access to the forum (we are using it as a business directors forum - not for general membership).</p><p>Currently we have 5 total registered users on the site - only 3 have access to forum, but as you can see, all 5 show in the Members section (see screenshot) - the 2 marked "Guest" have absolutely no access to the forum and our preference would be that they do not show up in the list.</p><p>I understand they probably show up because they are marked as "Guests" in the settings, however, there does not appear to be anyway to choose nothing or no status in the backend.  In other words, it appears that all registered users on a website must have some kind of status with the forum.</p><p>Is this any clearer?</p>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi jmzimmerle,</p><p>I'm sorry but I didn't follow you. Members are the users with <span style="color: #ff6600">Registered Usergroup</span>. The Registered <span style="color: #ff6600">Usergroup</span> has <span style="color: #800080">Standard Access</span> in forums. I don't know what configuration have you done, but all is easy. You just need to make sure your <span style="color: #ff6600">Usergroup</span> has correct <span style="color: #800080">Forum Access</span> for certain forum.
