I had a forum page:

percysgrowroom.com/forum

I added some changes, and changed the date it was published. The date was today's date, and that left the post on schedule.... so the past wasn't published.

I think the software made a new page for me called

Percysgrowroom.com/community

I have changed to publish date of the original page so it is back now, but, it keeps redirecting to the "community" page instead of the forum page.

I tried deleting the community page, but it wont allow me to move it ot the bin.

How can I can rid of the unwanted page and restore my old on to working properly again

Hi @percysgrowroom,

We've just checked your forum everything is ok. Have you fixed it?

You should navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General admin page, fill the correct URL in the "Forum Base URL" section.

Then check the Forum Page ID and make sure it matches with the page with [wpforo] shortcode.

Ive done that sofy

The url is set to / forum

but it keep referring back to the community page

I have copied to code over so it looks normalish and can be used, but the forum page i have everything set up on comes second..... maybe delete the caches and see what happens?

I pretty much want to delete the community page, but it wont let me , its a page i dont need and a duplicate, so wont be good for SEO

@percysgrowroom,

Go to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard and click on [Delete all caches]. Maybe it still shows the old cached URLs of forums and topics.

@percysgrowroom,

You should find the page with the ID mentioned in the setting, edit the page and make all necessary steps to make it actual: change date, or probably the page goes to trash the move to published.

@sofy ok, so to be sure, you're telling me to fix up the new page so it is an exact copy of the old one, and then delete the old one?

No this wont work, i have tied it, but the links referring into that page are not changing

Its as if, when i change the URL of the page, all of the URLs coming into it are also changed.

I need to be able to turn the old page back into the main page by editing the page id for the forum back to how it was.

Is there somewhere in the code i can change this in cpanel?

@percysgrowroom,

Please record some video with the issue. We see everything is working fine. All the links go to pages with the forum slug.
