And i know you said forget about the page ID  but it seems like an important factor in fixing this:

As you can see in the pick, the forum page ID is not the original. I need it to link to the other page. SO just changing this number back to the right page should fix it i think?

If we are talking about links from external sources, i don't see how a backlink can link to a page ID. The link is to the slug.

I think it links ot the forum, which is connected to the plugin. When the fourm URL is changed, I think it automatically changes those incoming link urls too?

@percysgrowroom,

You can change that ID in database. In wp_options table. But I don't know how Yoast Count the links and how this may fix the problem. But you can try for sure.

@percysgrowroom,

One more thing. If in external websites your forum URL is already linked with /forum-2/ slug, how you can fix it without redirection? There is no other way. You have to do 301 Permanent redirection from  /forum-2/(*) to /forum/$1 , There is no other ways I think.

Well once it is changed, i can change the yurls of the pages again and it should work from there

If i can just get the old page to have forum as the URL, and have the FOrumPage ID match it, itll all be fixed 🙂

Ye the notification button doesnt work right on other pages as it optimised. But i like having a log in or sign up button at the top like that, and  nice place for the user notifications.

Other wise i have to place it under the forum, so mobile users have to scroll to the bottom to see it

Then  exclude wpForo assets from the optimizer.

Try to exclude

wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-assets/js

from the JS optimizer.

Also you may be interested in this (after you resolve your problem):

Well what you should do is fix everything (and i mean everything) and FREEZE the technical part. You seem to be in a constant "changing things" state. And apparently you are not very familiar with all that and you are damaging your site and your health.

And devote your time in promoting and adding information to your site.

@percysgrowroom,

The wp_options table is not wpForo table, it's core WordPress table, you should search in WordPress tables. Also make sure your table prefix is wp_ , if it's not wp_ then search for just _options to find it.

Then click on that table, go to Search Tab and search wpforo_pageid in the option_name field:

And you should be able to see the row:

Martin, Robert, Sofy, Massimo, I really don't know what I would do without you guys!

I do know that my website would be shiiiiiiiit, and broken lol.

You really do go to the next level to make sure users of wpforo have all the help they need.

I started my site, with no idea what to do. And over the last year, you guys have helped me massively, fixing s**t ive broke, improving things, upgrades. Really can't thank you enough for everything!

I've managed to change the page ID and that is all back to normal now 🙂 Karma is restored. Really, again, i cant thank you enough for your help and patience.

Im just going to try and figure out how to fix these last errors now and then im gonna leave it alone and try and enjoy the site as a member for a while.

Massimo, if you don't mind mate, can you help me fix these last error your pointed out? Once these are fixed you wont here from me for a while lol

If you're talking about the icons issue I'd recommend enable site-wide option for wpForo Font-Awesome Lib in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page:
