Open the topic and check the first post, you can see that there is a Lock button on the first post, use that button to close the topic, if you don't have the lock button on the first post, you should go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses Tab, edit the needed Forum Access and enable "Can close topic" option, and make sure that you have set the correct Forum Access on the Forum/Category for your usergroup.

That being said, I can't see a mod tool to lock a thread so that no more users can post in the thread. Can anyone tell me how to find the mod tools to lock threads as needed on my site? Thanks
