                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi @neilrichards,</p><p>First of all, there is no Subscriber role for wpForo. wpForo has own Usergroup system, and the WP Subscriber is the same Registered usergroup in the forum.</p><p>At first, please navigate to Dashboard &gt; Settings &gt; General admin page, set "Customers" as a value of the "New User Default Role" option.</p><p>Then navigate to Dashboard &gt; Forums &gt; Usergroups admin page, make sure the usergroup and user roles are attached correctly. </p><p>More info for User Role-Usergroup Synchronization can be found here:</p><p><a href="https://wpforo.com/community/wpforo-announcements/wpforo-1-5-0-is-released/#post-17357">https://wpforo.com/community/wpforo-announcements/wpforo-1-5-0-is-released/#post-17357</a></p>]]></content:encoded>
