Hello,

I discovered a bug in the recent posts widget.

If setting the excerpt length to 0, the autorefresh is disabled. It is impossible to set the excerpt to 0. Only 1 character is possible.

By the way: Please consider to let there be an excerpt for "Recent Topics", too.

I purchsed WP Discuz Widgets, but I miss a similar designed simple widget like the ones in WPForo. I would like to present them in a grid of three columns. And the WPDiscuz-Widget does not match the design of WPForo.

Blog Comments in profile wrong

in my WPForo-Profile it gives the information, that I should have "428 Blog Comments". I don't have any comments, yet. How does this come and how could it go?

Rich Text Editor not displaying for some users

I have a strange issue whereby some users are reporting that they cannot see the rich text editor when creating or replying to a post. I have seen mention of checking to ensure that a box Disable Rich Text Editor is disabled, (https://wpforo.com/community/postid/72860/) however I am unable to find the location of this box in a user profile to check whether this is the problem.

I have cleared all the WPForo caches and my hosting says that WPForo is excluded from all caches.

I am using WPForo v3.1.1 and I would appreciate any suggestions to cure this issue for half a dozen of my 2,500 forum users.

wpForo widget and Ultimate Member integration

The wpForo User Profile & Notifications widget does not seem to be fully integrated for cases when Ultimate Member being used to handle profiles.

Ultimate forum links are set to /user/
wpForo links are set to /member/

The widget updates all of the buttons to point to /user/ except for the "favored" button. That button directs to the wpForo profile page. There isn't a place to change the link or add/remove buttons.

I cleared cache and flushed Permalinks.

What is the best solution for this, or where can it be edited in the code, function, etc?

Slightly off-topic, the same thing happens with messages. Better Messages support isn't offered by wpForo, but it is integrated with UM on the UM profile page. Understandably, there is only a message button when the wpForo private message plugin is active, but it doesn't know to point to the UM messages tab. Also understandable, but it would be better if there was a way to easily edit button links or add custom buttons. Especially since the wpForo notifications function doesn't really integrate well with anything else outside of wpForo.

WP forum to WP forum migrations - best process?

I have an existing forum site on running on Wordpress website. This whole site including the forum element and all user was cloned onto another domain. This new site is now live, but threads from the "Old" previous website now have been updated with new q & a's.

Can I migrate the "latest version" of that forum onto my new website - therefore capturing and overwriting the forum to show the latest post in threads etc..

And if so, how please. What's the best process to use, any plugins needed ?

wpForo Keeps Creating New Pages

I have a board setup on a page with a slug /forum/. For some reason, wpForo keeps creating a new page with the slug /community/. I delete it, and another one takes its place. I delete it, and another takes its place. Over and over.

The board is on a page built with Bricks, and is inserted by adding the shortcode in a Bricks shortcode module. I have verified that the pageid in the Board settings matches the ID of the page with the /forum/ slug.

I've tried deleting the /community/ page, switching it to draft, scheduling it for publication 100 years in the future, etc. Nothing seems to work. The moment it is anything other than published and active, a new takes its place – /community-2/, /community-3/, etc.

I'm not running a caching plugin, and I have wpForo caching disabled.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Hey there I just started using WPforo and I have a question. Is it possible to view guests, bots online as opposed to just registered members? If so how can I make that happen? Thank you

Register problem

Hello, If I want to register then I fill up the "nickname" then "email" and then check the box and then push the button for register. It shows on the right corner "is loading" or like something like that and the page is reloading and the nickname and email is filled but nothing other is happened. no text message, no email, no info. Whats my problem? thank you
