WPforo is really great, but it appears to not be playing nice with Paid Memberships Pro. We have a private subscription site using Paid Membership Pro as the subscription/membership manager. When we downloaded WPForo plugin and purchased the survey and private chat add ons, we started having problems with the registration function of Paid Memberships Pro e.g. it does not work.

Admittedly I might have a setting wrong so I was wondering of you have come across this before, and/or are there settings I should be checking off that can stop the following glitches occurring.

1. When members sign on for their 30-day free trial they now encounter a white screen.

2. When others return, they are taken directly to our forums instead of the member dashboard.

All thoughts and help welcome.

Thank you

PS we have three levels of membership through Paid Memberships Pro. Free Trial, monthly subscriber, annual subscriber. Each membership level has the same access to all forums but not all are moderators.   The page that hosts WPforo in our WordPress site is locked down so that only free trial, monthly and annual subscribers can access it.

Thank you

I don't think this issues has any relation to wpForo. wpForo doesn't have any function and affection in User Sign on process. All these functions are provided by WordPress. Please leave some URL to allow us see how and where your users sign on for 30-day free trial.

For any case please disable (set No) these options in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features tab:

  • Replace Registration Page URL to Forum Registration Page URL
  • Replace Reset Password Page URL to Forum Reset Password Page URL

Also please make sure you use the latest 1.5.0 version.
