It's a known issue and will be fixed on the next release the developers said.

The recent posts widget started to show double text suddenly.
Things I have tried:

  • Deleted the widget and readded it.
  • Deactivated all plugins. The issue remains.
  • Tried different themes. Didn't help.

Now I'm turning to your aid with the hope to solve it.
