@steveh92 , my first response was with the intention of letting you know about what wpForo can and cannot do - automated registration that you can turn on or off. That's what it's designed to do, so the automated Registration actually works.

I didn't realize that you had another plugin in play here, that is supposed to "manually activate" user registrations. So, I agree with @robert on the steps you need to take next. Good luck.

I think you should contact to the User Approval plugin support and ask them integrate it with wpForo. wpForo doesn't detect the custom status of user approval made by other plugins. This should be done from that plugin side.

Hi CrisW,

I'm not sure this helps much because I've stopped the user from receiving an email so that we can manually approve the user. I just want to redirect the user to the main page straight after the sign up rather than going to /community/?wpforo=signup page. Please would you be able to help us solve this?

"User Registration
Enable User Registration
This option is not synced with WordPress “Anyone can register” option in Dashboard > Settings > General admin page. If this option is enabled new users will always be able to register. If this option is disabled the default WordPress User Registration form will still be available. But wpForo Register Menu and Register Page will be hidden.

Enable User Registration email confirmation
This option switches wpForo user registration function to WordPress Email confirmation mode. Users only enter Username and Email on registration form. After clicking on submit button they receive Email with Password Generation link. Using this link users set a password thus confirm and finish registration process."

Registration problem

I've applied a user approve function, when a user finishes the registration they are taken to /community/?wpforo=signup but this page won't display as they don't have permission to yet.

Is it possible to change the page they are taken to after registration?
