This is a chrome sensitive issue. Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Styles admin page and put this CSS code in Custom CSS Code textarea. Then delete all caches and do Ctrl+F5 on forum front:

#wpforo #wpforo-wrap .wpforo-search-wrap .wpforo-search-content td.wpf-stext {
    word-break: break-all;
}

For certain search terms, our search results will bleed over into the sidebar, see image below. This happens in Chrome, IE, and Safari. It does not occur with the same search term in Firefox.

Search terms we have identified that always cause the bleed:

• authentication server
• html error
• .net framework - this one came up this morning (7/13) and bleeds in Chrome and Firefox

Can anyone suggest a fix? We can't make sense of the issue.

I think this is a simple CSS conflict, please leave forum URL to allow us debug it.

Thanks for the info. The reason our dev has it this way is because of the places on our website you have to go to access the forums. We have a menu item called Community and under that we have the forums and our certification program. So, I think we need to keep it the way it is...no?

No. You can have whatever menus (levels) you like and keep the url short.

The reason for short URLS is that Google doesn't like/index full the urls if long. Also the most important part of your url is the topic name (right ?) and Google considers the most important one mostly on the left. So having a LONG url, will somehow "limit" the importance of your url.

It is very long and not needed. Eliminate the /community or the /forum
