This is not a bug. wpForo don't show post titles in topics. It's made by design. The titles of posts are only used in post lists, like widgets, recent posts, user activity, search results, etc...

Robert, I see what you mean. I just changed the title of my previous post and it did show up amended in the Recent Posts widget on the right here.

While testing several wpForo configuration settings, I have come across this issue: on a brand new wpForo install, if I create a topic (topic title example: "Red is good"), I can see that, for each post reply, the form presents also the possibility to edit the post title.

For example, if I add a reply to the first post by changing the default title "RE: Red is good" and change it to "Green is better!" and then I add some text in the post body, the changed title will not be visible.

I would expect, if post titles are not changed, that they will naturally be not shown, because they are practically the same as the topic's main title. But if I do change them, I would expect them to be seen.

I can see that the changed post title "Green is better!" has actually been recorded in the wpforo_posts table, only it is not displayed.

I have attached a picture to show the issue described.

Is there a setting I cannot see that changes this behaviour?
