I have a user who has been trying to post a reply on our forum. When she tries to leave a reply, in the corner of the screen a message appears saying 'post is empty'.

She has tried hitting reply and typing in her reply and it has seen the choice to 'save' in the corner but then can't find the saved post.

She has also tried to 'add a topic' to ask this question and again, it said 'post is empty' in the corner again.

What steps could I take to help her to be able to post?

Many thanks

Faith

Hi @faitht,

We see the login details you've provided us. However, we were not able to log in. Please check the login details and make sure it's available for regular members.

Also please let us know, do the user try to post with internet explorer browser?

So sorry - I must have forgotten to hit save. The user is working now, and has membership active, so once you login go to Members Home and from the to the Dream Author Talking Point, which is the forum.

I'm not sure what browser the user is using. Is IE a problem? I've written to her to ask.

Thanks for your help on this.

Faith

@faitht

Just update to the latest 1.6.5 version and delete all caches. you don't need to do those step anymore. This issue is already fixed in 1.6.5 version.

Don't forget press Ctrl+F5 twice on forum front-end to reset browser cache.
