Ok, so I deactivated the Ultimate Member plug-in and nothing changed. However after deactivating the auth0 plugin the "Change password" started working at the wpForo account page. When we activate auth0 and try to change password from wpForo account page or the Ultimate Member - it keeps saying "the old password doesn't match" or similar. But we need auth0.

The "Change password" works always from WP Dashboard>Users>Your profile. How could we make the wpForo account page communicate well with the auth0 plugin? Could it imitate the same that is done at WP Dashboard>Users>Your profile from the wordpress code for this password change to work?

You are right - I took it out. However that page was created by Ultimate Member, which I don't use (and it's password resets don't work too on our site neither from that page, nor from its account page). I tried again after I took it out and it doesn't work. Changed the link to its /password-reset/ slug and didn't work. Returned it back to /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and again doesn't work. :(

I think you've trashed your password resetting page. Navigate in Dashboard to Pages admin page, click on Trashed (x) link and restore if it's there.

Hmm, good to know - thanks! However, it returns example.com/password-reset__trashed/ when I paste it in the browser (I guess I shoud not but just tried it :D). So, I entered "/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword" in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members for Lost Password URL.

But again when I try changing the password in the account page (example.com/community/account/username) it says that the old password entered is wrong, when it isn't. :(

wpForo account is the same WordPress user. Password is one and user is one. There is no separate user systems. The password reset URL is /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Unfortunately, auth0 does have a password-reset page on the same address as the login page. It was "/login" at Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members and now is "/wp-login.php". Both lead to the same page now but lets use "/wp-login.php" . Both didn't work. :(

I tried to change a password from another account (in its wpForo account page) but again says that the old password is wrong. So, it doesn't take the new password. It seems that it tries to change a wpForo account password and not the Wordpress one which is the auth0 now. If I try resetting it in the Dashboard> Users>Your profile, then it works. But users can't do this as they don't access the WP dashboard.

Please find current lost-password page slug then copy this slug and navigate in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members admin page. Find the "Custom Authorization URLs:" option and put it in "Lost Password URL" field. Then save, delete cache and check it.
