As far as I see this plugin should restrict access to certain page. wpForo page is a simple page. You can disable wpForo plugin and check it again with an empty page (just leave some text to make sure the content is hidden).

I know I can use the user group permissions within wpforo but this will require me constantly cross checking for any changes to the paid memberships.

This issue is fixed in next wpForo version. wpForo usergroups will be synchronized with roles, so each change of User Roles will automatically change the Usergroup.

I'm currently using wp simple membership and it's going extremely well in terms of compatibility. One little snag though is where I want to restrict access to particular forums based on the wp simple membership level. Users pay for a certain level and have access to pages on a page permission basis. However, as the only page accessible to edit for wpforo is the top level forum page, I'm in a position where I can only give them all or nothing form permissions through wp simple membership.

I know I can use the user group permissions within wpforo but this will require me constantly cross checking for any changes to the paid memberships.

So, is there a way to:

make the two plugins compatible, or

make it so each forum page appears in my pages list so that I can edit the wp simple membership permissions on it?
