I want to customise the wpForo theme, but when I do that in the normal theme file, all my customisations are lost when the theme is updated. So, I've made a child theme and put the customisations in the wpForo folder in the child theme.

Now, the following weird thing happens:
It recognises that the theme contains customised files, but instead of getting them from the child theme, it tries to receive them from the parent theme, resulting in a 404.

To clarify: If I enable the child theme with the customisations, there is no CSS, not even the default one.

How can I fix this?
