Well, Well the widget is now fixed once again with 1.9.2. Lets hope it remains so. Many thanks to the Wpforo developers for including the fix for the widget. 👍

As a result of this I have had to block the private area from the recent posts widget for the past 18months or more, just to ensure posts don't get listed. This is annoying but I've learned to live with it.

That is what I did now, but not what I went for.

In /community/recent all access permissions are respected and links are not shown to those that do not have permission to view them.

Exactly, but over there the new-button doesn't work. So it's kind of a mess 😥

I don't use any cache plugins except the wpforo cache.

If I made a configuration mistake I'm very happy to correct if you can find it. I'm actually using this widget because the feature where the users can use the "new" button doesn't work correctly.
