To reduce rows and database bloat in wpForo, you should remove old or spam content and clean up unneeded log data. Because direct database deletion is permanent, start by backing up your site.
 
Here are the best ways to do this:
 
1. Delete Old Topics and Posts
You can remove old discussions directly from your dashboard or via SQL. 
  • Via Dashboard: Go to Forums > Moderation > Published and filter by date to manually delete outdated threads.
  • Via SQL: To automatically delete all posts and topics older than a specific timeframe, you can execute targeted delete queries in your phpMyAdmin dashboard. 
2. Purge Spam and Trashed Content
 
Accumulated spam posts and topics drastically inflate your row count. 
  • Go to Forums > Moderation in your WordPress admin panel.
