I'm currently building a community platform using wpForo and would appreciate some guidance on integrating it properly with Ultimate Member.

My Setup

• Website: wtlmydiscussion.com
• Forum: wpForo
• Authentication: Ultimate Member
• Email Service: Zoho Mail
• SMTP: Working correctly

I intentionally chose Ultimate Member to handle all user authentication because I prefer its registration forms, login system, account management, and customizable branded email templates.

My goal is for Ultimate Member to be the single authentication system on my website, while wpForo serves only as the forum platform.

Current Issue

Although the integration generally works, I've noticed that wpForo still takes over parts of the authentication process in certain situations.

For example:

• Sometimes users are redirected to wpForo's login page instead of the Ultimate Member login page.
• Password reset or account-related emails can sometimes lead users back into wpForo's authentication flow instead of Ultimate Member's.
• There are occasions where wpForo's registration/login handling appears instead Ultimate Member's, resulting in an inconsistent user experience.

Ideally, I want users to interact only with Ultimate Member for:

• Registration
• Login
• Logout
• Password reset
• Account management
• Authentication-related emails

wpForo should simply recognize the authenticated user and provide the forum experience.

Email Notifications

I also have a question regarding email notifications.

Ultimate Member is already configured with my branded email templates, and authentication emails sent by Ultimate Member work well.

However, wpForo still sends some of its own emails using its default templates.

I'd like to know whether it's possible for wpForo to:

• use Ultimate Member's email system/templates for authentication-related emails, or
• disable wpForo's authentication emails entirely and allow Ultimate Member to handle them.

I understand that forum-specific notifications (such as new replies, subscriptions, mentions, etc.) are part of wpForo and should remain its responsibility. My concern is only with authentication and user account emails.

My Questions

1. What is the recommended configuration when using Ultimate Member as the primary authentication system with wpForo?
2. Is there a way to completely disable wpForo's login, registration, password reset, and other authentication-related pages and let Ultimate Member handle them exclusively?
3. Can wpForo be configured to redirect all authentication actions to Ultimate Member?
4. For authentication emails, is there a way for wpForo to defer to Ultimate Member's email system while continuing to send forum notification emails normally?

My goal is to provide users with a single, consistent authentication experience throughout the website while still taking full advantage of wpForo's forum features.

Any guidance or recommended best practices would be greatly appreciated.
