Is it possible to have a stickie post only stick to the top in it's subform, rather than the main page?

Thanks!

Can someone please advise? I am trying to stickie posts in a private forum and not have them take over the main page.  Thanks!

Hi @eel ,

In wpForo, you can only set a topic as a sticky topic; there is no way to set individual posts as sticky.

@blackraz thank you but that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm sorry I wasn't clear.

I am having a class in a private forum. I want to pin official class threads to the top of the private forum. There are other threads in the private forum; just people chatting off topic.  By the end of this class, there will be a dozen pinned threads.

When I pin the threads in the private forum, they are pinned in all the forums. They will eventually dominate the front page. This means anyone who comes to the site and tries to join the conversation, is met with "this is a private class".

I'm trying to pin threads in the single, private forum. Is this possible?

There is currently no way to set a thread as sticky only within the forums page view. I suggest grouping the official class threads using tags or prefixes. Please take a look at this addon: https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-topic-prefix/ it may help you

Okay.  Thanks for clarifying and pointing me towards a solution.

Have a great day.
