please help me with this problem I've been trying to fix and I've failed....I'm not able to register new users with the WPFORO registration form, a red alert saying ERROR: please enter a password is prompted when i try to register.

I found this debug message: WordPress Email sending function wp_mail() doesn't work!

... I have already WP MAIL SMTP plugin installed.

If you get that error in debug, then your hosting provider has blocked that.

The is no solution. Only your hosting provider can solve it.

On the other hand can you try to use Postman plugin (and disable WP MAIL SMTP )  and update us here?

So i guess your hosting provider is not allowing it.

Are you using his mail server to smtp relay? Where do you host?

i use AWS EC2 machine I do not think that maybe the cause because I send emails from my website normally , I'm using ionos SMTP.

I have this problem only on the registrations form that comes with wpforo.

Well the thing is .... wpForo doesn't send any emails. And it just provides a "form" for login and register. It is actually Wordpress core that does the job.
