Up until recently, I have had no problem adding new topics to my forum. This morning I tried to click the "Add Topics" button on a forum and nothing happened. I suspect it the issue may be related to another plugin but I am not sure. Any suggestions on how to quickly resolve this?

Hi @jcbridwe,

This is does other plugin affection. In most cases this is a cache or website optimization issue. Please deactivate recent installed / updated plugins, delete all caches and test it again. Also please leave your website URL to allow us check JS errors.

Thanks @robert - The site url is : https://www.starrpfra.com/ . I have cleared the cache in the browser and the problem persists. I will try running a healthcheck and deactivate any recently added plugins to see if I can get to the root of the problem. -JB

Hmmm, what do I need to do to open it? I can do that briefly. BTW - I did a Healthcheck and deactivated all plugins other than WP Foro. I was still not able to get the button working. -JB

OK, I see that now. Is there a way to open my forum for you to view as @robert suggested? How can I fix the issue with users (in this caase it looks like me -the admin) being shown as 'Anonymous'? Why would it show me as 'Anonymous' in the first place? -JB

Something is damaged in database, user profile data are lost. Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Debug Tab, click on Tables Link and check Database Errors, then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard and click these buttons, with following order:

  • [Synch Users]
  • [Delete Users Cache]
  • [Reset Topic Statistic]
  • [Delete All Caches]

Then delete website cache if you have other cache plugins and check it again.

OK, thanks! As soon as I went in to Tables, there was a red error message saying the tables were not present. I clicked 'Recheck Tables' and it fixed it. I now see all the users and can click the 'Add Topic' button. Thanks for your help@robert and @anonymous20!
