I created a subfolder in my domain which is called 'belgium'. In that subfolder I installed WordPress and the FORO plugin.

It seems that the foro plugin cannot work in a subfolder. I re-installed it now in the subfolder 'arrantwerpen'. I appears the first time when I open it, but as soon as I add a main menu, the 'forum' extension disappears and the plugin becomes useless.

the new url is www.netwerkcafe.be/arrantwerpen

where it should be www.netwerkcafe.be/arrantwerpen/community

Sorry, i don't understand what you try to do. I think you get all this wrong. Try first to install and run WP alone properly. After that add wpForo.

Because right now i doubt you have WP running well.
