Currently on any topic, you have to click once to enter the thread and then again to go to the page that you are looking for. For users who are up to date on a 5 page thread, when there is a new post they want to go straight to page 5 - not page one and then choose page 5. Most forums have small links right below the thread title to allow for this. Picture example attached
