Hello. I am so sad that there are many ad accounts registered in my forum and I have to spend serval hours to delete them. Please see attached pictures.

I have installed the QuickEmailVerification plugin and it works at the beginning. It blocked some invalid email to register but the problem is that there are many ad accounts are using the real email address.

I'm not running an advertising forum! Does anyone have any idea how to stop these fake users?

Attached picture 4. These accounts will post some ad or their website link in their own Profile,

Same problem is happening to me 🙁

I have the captcha and email confirmation activated, but they are registering too.

Anyone can tell me how to close the registration for some days?

Thanks a lot.

@germanjv Close the registrations in Wordpress Settings. Not a wpForo settings.

@dimalifragis Sorry but that is not working.

They are still registering using the forum registration form. ¿How can I remove the forum registration option, please?

Thanks a lot.

@germanjv Enable/Disable User Registration in wpForo Settings/features then.

@dimalifragis  I do not want to close the registration page as I need the real users to register for my forum, instead of the ad account.
