PM Addon comes with Facebook message style, you click on Member message icon and it opens FB like message box, then you can chat privately with the user you've chosen.

Is there a way to make text in the post a default color so members dont have to keep changing it to another color?

There is no a certain option for this, but all is possible with custom CSS.

Does the add-ons fix most of these?

There are only two addons at the moment, they are adding advanced attachment system and advanced embedding options. Addons have no relation to most of your questions.

No in first version. Multi-user conversation will be the next major feature in PM addon.

But admins will be able to send global message to all users. Admin can select receivers by Usergroup and names.
