I'm an advocate of 'at glance' and minimalism.

The following screen shot is from another forum that I'm the moderator.

This 3X3  area, to my opinion, is perfect and contained more info than in the large wpForo footer.

I'm sure that you know what is the platform I'm talking about.

And without breaking copyrights and so on, I'm sure that will be able to implement something similar.
