Hi wpForo Support Team,
I’m facing a persistent 404 issue related to wpForo and would like your advice.
Here is what I have tested step by step:
-
My site is running on WordPress with LiteSpeed Cache.
-
When wpForo is disabled, I can create new pages and posts normally — all URLs load correctly.
-
When wpForo is activated, any newly created page or post returns a 404 error.
-
I followed your LiteSpeed compatibility guidance and added the following paths to LiteSpeed Cache → Do Not Cache URIs (one per line):
/community/
/participant/
/sign-up/
/sign-in/
/change-password/
-
After that, I:
-
Cleared all LiteSpeed cache
-
Went to WordPress → Settings → Permalinks and clicked Save (no changes)
-
-
Result: New pages/posts still return 404.
-
If I deactivate wpForo, all pages immediately work again without 404.
This behavior is 100% reproducible.
Could you please advise:
-
Whether wpForo has additional rewrite / permalink settings that must be applied
-
Or if this is a known conflict with LiteSpeed / Apache rewrite rules
-
Or any recommended server-level configuration for wpForo to avoid breaking WordPress permalinks
Thank you for your help.
