We use Memberpress - after installing the memberpress integration plugin the whole forum disappeared for all users except logged in admins. We removed the integration plugin, but the forum is not accessible to other levels of logged in or not logged in users. I have gone through as many fixes as I can find in this forum, to no avail.

The attached screenshot is of a logged in regular user (where the full forum is accessible). When logged in as admin the whole forum is accessible.

None of the normal permissions were changed except adding the integration plugin with memberpress. We didn't even turn on permissions using that plugin!

thanks for any help.

Hi @phoenix888,

This is a permission configuration issue, for sure. Please edit the forum accesses in wpForo > Accesses admin page and make sure the View Forum and other necessary permissions are enabled.

Make sure the Guest usergroup exists in wpForo > Usergroups admin page. Click the [Synchronize Usergroups] button to make sure all have correct user roles.

Edit all forums one by one and make sure Usergroups have correct Forum Access in the right meta-box "Forum Permissions" and make sure the Membership Plans have correct Forum Accesses.

@robert Thanks

We have gone through everything you have mentioned with the MemberPress plugin re-installed. However, no joy, still no forum for a logged in member.

The only thing that we had not done was the synchronize usergroups - that has been turned on now.

I have attached a screenshot of the forum usergroup permissions - all forums have been checked and all membership levels required given standard access.

Is there anything else you can think of?

Kind Regards

Phoenix

@robert Actually - I take my first reply back - it seems the synchronization of usergroups did something - took a while to make a difference - looks like members have access again!

Thank you so much for your help!

Regards

Phoenix
