Hello,

I did the install of the plugin, now need to make menu, but am confused as hell.

Are there any tutorial videos to watch someone do a sample install with creating menus, topics, etc...

This is the ONLY forum that does not have any training videos on youtube, and this forum software is the best one out of all that I tried.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thank you

wpForo is a new forum plugin. But it has very helpful documentation and it's very easy to configure. wpForo menu is a regular WordPress menu. Please read this doc:

Hello Robert,

Yes, I have been trying to follow that page and it is confusing.

Do you add the short code to the left side where it says url?

Do you add it onto http:///%wpforo-home%/ or http://%wpforo-home%/ 3 lines or 2 after the  http?

I know its simple for most of you, but for me, it isn't.

Thank you

Robert

All are already added why you try to do the same? In menu admin page you should select wpForo navigation and manage already added menu items.

do you add the short code to the left side where it says url?

Remove the http:// part and only add the shortcode:

Hi Robert,

OK, that is clear, and I will do it.

Do I do it for all of the shortcodes to create a full functioning forum?

Sorry to ask such basic child like questions, but the only forum I ever built was one on proboards, where you used their domain, and they took all the traffic and the ad revenue, etc... and this time want to build my own forum to control the way I want to.

Thank you again for the help, I feel like I need to be wearing a dunce cap at this time, lol.
