I just realised that I don't see the avatar probably when clicking on a member. You can see a grey dot in the top left where the avatar should be. When I look in Safari web inspector, I get this console error as well: Data url decoding failed, and the url itself doesn't look like a proper url (see second screenshot)

Deactivate the plugin/script that transcodes the image files to base64
you can see in your second screenshot which formats (Acccept: image/.....) are accepted

@tutrix Ah yes I see what it accepts now, didn't see that earlier. But why is it failing here, when the member picture shows fine in the directory ? That seems odd/incongruent ? One would expect wpforo to use the same method here?
