My forum is up but new users can't register. There is no error message...just nothing. I finally got one to go through and then it stopped again. I don't know how to troubleshoot without error messages. I even turned off requiring email validation and that didn't affect it.

Well, registrations, logins, lost passwords, users, emails are handled by Wordpress and not wpForo. wpForo kinda provides a form for easyness.

There are errors, you just do not see them. Press F12 and see the console for errors, enable Wordpress debug to a log, or post a url if you can/want.

Got it! I did F12 and deactivated a part of WPRocket that was causing jquery errors and it let me register a user.

Then I refreshed the page and it won't let me add another user.  Earlier today I was able to make changes and add one, but then it got stuck again. Please help!!!

The website is ourjourneymenopause.com

Just remove WP Rocket from wpForo. I'm suprised that 99% of the problems we encounter here with wpForo have to do with WP Rocket enabled. Why people are using this WP-Rocket thing, is beyond me.

REMOVE if from wpForo pages. Any caching and ANY optimizations of JS and CSS, at least until everything is working and stable.

wpForo pages still have js errors, please debug this yourself, i told you how.

@anonymous20 I did and it didn't fix anything. Not to mention, I need WP Rocket to speed up my site. It goes from 7.1 second load to 2.7 second load.

You didn't tell me how. I am not a coder. I don't know how to fix anything - you only pointed me to where to find the errors.

So basically you are saying users have to pick between WP Rocket and WPforo?

@sarahourjourney,

We've just checked your website. There is not such issue anymore. Seems the issue is already fixed.

ANY caching and Optimization doesn't work well with wpForo (and other plugins).

What you basically say is that you disabled caching and then enabled again.

I told you that you must EXCLUDE wpforo from ANY caching AND optimization. I don't know how since wp rocket is a commercial plugin.

Again, i do not understand why people have that fixation with caching and optimization plugins that cause only problems and issues. Such plugins help for sure, especially heavy traffic sites, but they come with a price. Unless you know what you must exclude from caching and optimization, you will always have trouble.

Such issues as yours have been covered extensively here, use the search for wp rocket.
