any tips or plugins and on how to set them up to speed up the forum ?
i and some members are having problems loading the page or even posts some times taken up to a min after hitting the submit button

and thats shoing between 5s-9s to load the page
so im hopping some of you will now how to improve the site

@hector i have worked out some things have have helped mate .
Couple of steps i have done:
Forum-settings-features ( and turned off the buddypress stuff as i dont use it)
BuddyPress Activity Integration
BuddyPress Notification Integration
BuddyPress Profile Forum Tab Integration
Replace Forum Profile with BuddyPress Profile
ofcourse if your using or has buddy press you might not what too.
Forum-settings-API (social network)
i un clicked all the Active Share Buttons
and Enable Share Buttons i disabled
Plugin i used
i installed WP-Optimize
i did the Optimisations tab to help clean database
then i went to the tables tab and removed anythink thaty had a remove button on it
as it was no longer in the database.
Then did the same on the Image tab, and compressed them all.
Then go to the cache tab and turn that on
this all helped me i have gone from 8s to 3s it took me alot of plugs to find that this one worked for me i hope it helps you
